Adrian Brewin is a British architect who has been living in Paris since May 1999. He has experience in a variety of projects in the UK, France and Switzerland and has had the opportunity to work on several published buildings both within small offices and larger companies.
Qualifying from the University of Edinburgh 11 years ago he has established skills from initial project briefing and design presentations to on site detailing and team management. Forthcoming opportunities should provide more control, reflecting his individual ideas, skills and experience in open, forward thinking processes with more emphasis given to reducing CO2 emissions from construction and sustainability.
He has a strong commitment to good contemporary design set in its context and finds pleasure in keeping jobs organised. Most of all he enjoys transfering ideas in to drawn images, the research of different products and materials that refine details and lead to a finished building that does its best for the environment. To this end he is equally at ease discussing and developing ideas by hand sketches or on computer, theoretically or practically.
